Another day, another podcast! No really, Modern American Diplomacy is only the third podcast I'm discussing slash recommending.
This podcast features 30-minute episodes that are basically interviews of current and former ambassadors, including many familiar names like Ambassador Tom Shannon, Ambassador Bill Burns and Ambassador Nancy Powell.
I listened to a handful of episodes and thought: this is probably the closest to sitting in a State Department meeting room or auditorium and attending a presentation by a formidable diplomat, so take advantage!
Personally I mostly enjoyed an interview with Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield for several reasons; she will play a major role in U.S. diplomacy as the new UN Ambassador, plus she's talking about issues close to my hearts such as succeeding as a tandem couple and raising children in the Foreign Service.
